Sr Manager – Enterprise UX

As a Senior Manager of UX within our Enterprise UX Team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming team-member tools and experiences for Hypermarket Retail, driving innovation and contributing to business growth. We are currently hiring for multiple Senior Manager roles within Enterprise UX, with a focus on Data Science Platform Tools and Marketing & Creative Tools.

This leadership role requires a deep understanding of Retail priorities and the ability to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders to define and execute design and experience strategies. You will ensure your team has the resources, guidance, and support they need to deliver exceptional work. This includes fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture, establishing effective operating routines, and providing clear design direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with UX, Product, Tech, and Business stakeholders to enable your team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Lead and grow high-performing UX teams, ensuring they can effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop a team of UX professionals, helping them enhance their skills and advance their careers while fostering trust, transparency, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate design processes into the product development lifecycle.
  • Uphold high-quality standards by reviewing team deliverables, conducting design critiques, and ensuring final outputs meet business and user needs.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and promote their value across the organization.

About You

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience
    • 10+ years of experience leading UX teams or managing high-performance teams.
    • 15+ years of experience in UX/digital product design, with a strong command of design principles and practices.
    • Proven track record in people management, including hiring, leading, and coaching teams.
    • Foundational knowledge of enterprise tools and their role in retail businesses.
    • Experience working in large, matrixed, global, or multi-national organizations is a plus.
  • Skills
    • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and create impact across all levels of leadership, including Sr. Managers, Directors, and Sr. Directors.
    • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to balance short-term execution and long-term vision while elevating team performance.
    • Proactive problem-solving skills to address challenges that may impact strategic, business, or financial goals.
    • Outstanding storytelling abilities, using data-driven visuals, verbal, and written communication to engage and align stakeholders.
    • Excellent listening, articulation, and presentation skills, with a knack for bringing partners along the journey.
    • Experience managing multiple stakeholders throughout all phases of the design process.
